Sunset Lightning

I had been chasing storms around the Mesilla Valley all one summer evening, trying to catch a bolt of lightning in a shot. I figured my odds were pretty good with the storms raging around me, but I could never make it work. Finally the sun started setting and there was this amazing radiant glow. I clicked this picture and said, "Whoah!"

wow! amazing capture! your patience and persistence certainly paid off! it really is a stunning sight - the sharpness and DOf are pefect and catching it at sunset allowed you to capture some superb colours too!
